
1994 - christopher Begins Planning for the Washington Football Team’s Relocation from RFK Stadium
When the Washington Football Team was looking to move from its current home at RFK Stadium to a new location, christopher was selected as the team was targeting Potomac Yard. christopher worked with current owner Jack Kent Cooke and the then governor of Virginia, Douglas Wilder, to develop plans to put RFK Stadium at Potomac Yard. Ultimately, the team did not move to Potomac Yard, but christopher did preliminary studies on five other potential sites and the stadium landed in its the current site in Landover, MD.
