2005 - Work Begins on Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant, in Ellicott City, MD

christopher was pleased to begin work on their largest project in Maryland to date by provided site planning, surveying, landscape architecture and construction administration services for this 50-acre continuing care retirement community in Ellicott City, Maryland.

The planned community offers adults 60 years and older three levels of residential accommodations and care ranging from independent living to skilled nursing. In addition, the community offers a variety of single and multi-family homes with eight different floor plan options.

christopher’s involvement with this project started at the very beginning with the architect selection process and followed through with all civil, survey and landscape architecture needs.

christopher provided engineering and surveying services for a bridge that provides pedestrian access to the Howard County Library system, and functions as emergency vehicular access for both sites. christopher oversaw the design team which included environmental specialist, structural engineering and geotechnical work.
