1996 - Work on Heritage Hunt Residential Development in Gainesville Begins

Heritage Hunt was a huge turning point for northwest Prince William County. christopher performed planning, civil engineering and surveying services for the development of this 750-acre, Active Adult community. Featuring over 2,000 residential units, property amenities include an 18-hole championship golf course, two clubhouses, tennis courts and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. christopher’s project scope also included the Heritage Hunt retail center, which is anchored by a Harris Teeter grocery store and includes office space and condos.

christopher was involved with the Heritage Hunt project from inception to completion. Project efforts have included civil site design, flood plain studies, as-built surveys, water and sanitary sewer master planning, final engineering design and stormwater management planning. Infrastructure design included utility master-planning, hydraulic modeling and preparation of final engineering documents.

The Heritage Hunt community paved the way for future developments like Piedmont and Dominion Valley.
