January 2017 - christopher Acquires Paciulli, Simmons and Associates
Paciulli, Simmons & Associates, Ltd. (PSA), was a civil engineering, surveying and land planning firm acquired by christopher at the end of January, 2017. Headquartered in Leesburg, Virginia at the time, PSA was recognized as the oldest business in the Washington Metropolitan area.
“With the addition of Paciulli we had the unique opportunity to expand our core services in our own backyard. The combined tenure of the team is phenomenal,” said Bill Zink, PE, President of christopher.
PSA’s President and CEO, Joe Paciulli, LS, said both clients and employees will benefit from this acquisition. “This strategic move allows us to provide an immediate add-value to our existing clients. On day one we can provide additional services and capabilities. Our entire team is staying in place at our current Loudoun location and is now backed by the strength, depth and resources of the christopher team.”
The companies worked together for decades to improve the industry through active participation in organizations like the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association (NVBIA), National Association for Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Virginia Association of Surveyors (VAS).
