John Helms is a Group Leader in our Urban Land Division and has been with christopher since 2011. He was named an Associate in 2019. John has an extensive background in the design and construction of civil engineering infrastructure and land planning in Virginia. He manages a portfolio of complex projects to include the INOVA Center for Personalized Health in Fairfax, VA, and Potomac Yard in Alexandria, VA.
John is active on the Arlington Government Relations Committee for NAIOP Northern Virginia. He obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and playing baseball for the Northern Virginia Navigators in the DCWood League.
