Bum Phillips is a Group Leader and Principal in our Suburban Land Division with an extensive background in civil engineering. In his role, he manages engineering analysis and design and coordinates planning, surveying and drafting project tasks. Bum works with both our public and private sector clients, with an emphasis on projects within Loudoun County, providing the highest level of professional services.
Bum is a 1984 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute. He was a Huey Pilot for the United States Marine Corps for 24 years, serving two combat tours in Iraq. He and his wife have two children. In his free time, Bum enjoys woodworking, golf, running and other outdoor sports.
