Multiple Data Centers

Loudoun County, VA

christopher is providing civil engineering, surveying and landscape architecture services on the development of three data center campuses within Loudoun County. christopher is supporting these projects from the initial planning stages, including rezoning support, stormwater management, site analysis, surveying and preparation of existing conditions plans. christopher coordinated site design with Corgan Architects. Projects include:

Data Center Site 1 – christopher performed rezoning work for 28.4-acre property, along with ALTA surveys, boundary surveys and a site layout/feasibility assessment. Work is ongoing and will include topographic surveys, final site plan engineering, SWM, drainage outfalls and proffer compliance. The completed project with include a data center and electrical substation.

Data Center Site 2 – christopher performed ALTA surveys, boundary surveying, rezoning, a site layout and feasibility assessment and also assisted with seller’s bond releases. The site is approximately 27.6-acres and will be developed into a multi-building data center campus, with proposed development including two 2-story 42 megawatt buildings each with an approximate 160,000 SF building footprint and exterior generator yard. Additional project efforts will include site studies, SWM, utilities, landscape architecture and plan and permit preparation and processing.

Data Center Site 3 – christopher performed rezoning and site planning services for the 32 megawatt, 3-story, 360,000 SF data center with a 66,000 SF office building component. christopher also provided full surveying services, construction administration and landscape architecture services.
