christopher provided site planning, engineering, and Landscape Architecture services for Loudoun View Senior Living that will provide 98 new affordable apartments for low-income residents in Sterling, Virginia. The project’s developers proposed to keep the apartments price-controlled for 75 years. The apartments will be 30 percent more energy efficient than required by building code. Ten of the apartments are designed to be accessible to the mobility-impaired and two are designed for the visually and hearing-impaired. Another ten will be designated for chronically homeless seniors. The units will be priced for people making 30 or 50 percent of the area median income.
