George Mason University PE Building

Fairfax County, VA

As part of our long history with George Mason University, christopher provided civil site design and surveying services for the renovation of their Fairfax campus PE Building. The scope of this project involved a multi-level addition and renovations to the existing building, new utility connections, new hardscape and landscaping, and modifications to an existing parking lot. The project also included grading, storm drain and utilities for a new road next to the PE Building. Site work for the building had to be coordinated through three different jurisdictions: State, County, and City since the State owns the land, Fairfax County provides the sanitary sewer service, and the City of Fairfax provides the water service.

In addition to the PE Building, christopher has a term contract with George Mason and also provided services for the George Mason Fenwick Library Renovation and GMU Academic VII (Peterson Family Health Sciences Hall).
