Fort Meade DISA

christopher worked with Hensel Phelps and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the construction of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Headquarters Facility at Fort Meade in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. christopher provided site work including the relocation of existing utilities and installation of new utilities, construction stakeout including sediment control staking three major SWM structures, road improvements, rough and fine grading work, parking lot construction, retaining walls and grading for snow removal areas for the Fort Meade DISA. Phases I and II of the project were completed in 2011 and involved the construction of seven buildings (Command building, Operations building, Acquisitions/Development building, Lab building, Warehouse building, Common building and a Central Utility plant building) and 2992 parking spaces, including one two-level parking deck and three parking lots (Lots A, B, & C). The total site area is 101 acres and the limit of disturbance is 61 acres.
