christopher consultants provided civil engineering, surveying, land planning and landscape architecture services for this townhome community in the City of Fairfax, creating this planned developed gateway community in the vicinity of George Mason University. christopher worked on all phases of the project beginning with an engineering feasibility study and site planning. Additional planning efforts included stormwater management, rough grading plans, entitlement and plan processing through the City of Fairfax and Fairfax County. christopher’s surveying efforts included easement and rezoning plats, boundary surveys, tree location surveys and construction stakeout. Stormwater solutions, site access, tree preservation and buffering of the adjacent GMU facilities was critical. Unique water supply and fire suppression systems were also required on the site given the building height desired.
