Engine Company 14

christopher provided civil engineering, surveying and landscape architecture services to the DC DGS and DLR for Engine Company 14. The project included a large addition to the existing fire station, as well as additional parking, site utilities, sediment control and stormwater management. christopher provided horizontal and vertical control, boundary and topographic surveys, utility locations and stakeout services, landscape plans, public space/traffic control plans and LEED coordination. The project was successfully completed in November 2016.

christopher also provided full site design and obtained all necessary site plan approvals for a new, temporary fire station located on DDOT’s property. The temporary fire station, located approximately one mile away from Engine Company 14, was used for approximately two years during the construction of the new facility.
