christopher consultants is providing engineering services to EK Fox and OBO to replace the existing hundred-year-old storm drain and sanitary laterals from the Embassy Chancery Building to the public utility connection in the street in Luxembourg. The project involves installation of the new utilities, coordination of the connection points for existing inlets on the site and the connection point in the public street and demolition of the existing utilities which must be kept in service during construction. christopher conducted a site visit and met with a local surveyor to obtain a topographic survey of the site, met with the City to discuss the connection points in the public street and performed a site investigation to determine the locations and alignments of existing utilities on the site to the extent possible. This will allow us to create an accurate base map to use in the preparation of the design drawings. The design efforts are ongoing and anticipated to be complete in April of 2020 with construction to commence shortly thereafter.
