christopher provided all engineering and surveying services on the Avonlea subdivision project in Chantilly, Virginia, from original boundary surveying through grading plans and construction administration throughout many design phases and revisions. christopher’s extensive list of tasks completed include site design, land planning, easements, tree location, topography surveys, preliminary and final engineering plans, waterline analysis and revision, sanitary sewer and stormwater management design to Edgemoore Homes for the Avonlea subdivision. Avonlea has a mix of up-scale single-family detached and attached units, and has a large wet pond with a man-made island located between the two phases.
christopher provided site planning services for the community, providing many common areas and amenities for Avonlea tenants to enjoy. Avonlea amenities include a community center, tennis and basketball courts, a daycare center and multiple tot lots, walking trails and a recreation facility with multiple pools. christopher provided coordination with the Avonlea HOA for approval on these amenities. In addition to site planning, christopher provided stakeout services, easements, waterline revision and ADA consultation for the on-site amenities. christopher also coordinated with VDOT and the County on the construction of 2,900 linear feet of roadway at Tall Cedars Parkway.
