christopher consultants is providing civil engineering, surveying and stormwater management services to St. John Properties for the development of Ashburn Crossing, an 80-acre commercial site located in Loudoun County, Virginia. When completed, the campus will include eight office buildings totaling more than 1 million square feet of commercial space, including a 20.5-acre parcel set aside for retail. There are also plans for two office/flex buildings totaling 45,120 each which are being designed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
christopher provided permitting assistance on the project which led to the stormwater management and rough grading plans to be approved by Loudoun County. The stormwater plans required approval to be vested under previous County regulations. christopher also worked with Loudoun Water to get the site connected to their water system. christopher also coordinated with the Prince William County Economic Development Authority to promote the development of the site.
Phase 1 and 2 of the project has been approved, and christopher continues to provide concept layouts for Phase 3. Phase 1 project ground in June of 2016.
