The Prince William County Planning Office has made a temporary change to their Comprehensive Plan Amendment submittal process.
The window of opportunity closes May 12, 2021.
While in the process of updating the Land Use chapter of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment submission process, the review of all long-range land use designations (countywide) can include any proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment application, including those associated with residential-only land. This window of opportunity allows staff to evaluate each project for consideration in the Land Use update of the Comprehensive Plan. All applications submitted before the May 12th deadline will be considered for initiation at the same time as the Comprehensive Plan Update. You can access the County website here: www.pwcgov.org/cpa.
This is a rare opportunity to have your land use designation changed within the review of the Comprehensive Plan and this process could result in a faster review of your application, cutting time from your project timeline.
Do you have questions about how this temporary change might benefit your project?
