Tracy’s life at christopher
Name a project you have enjoyed working on and why?
ANSWER:I really enjoyed working on our Shellhorn Road Data Center project in Loudoun County. It was one of the first data center projects I ever worked on, and is the project I refer to for all other data centers we do. Our team is proud of this project because it set the record for the fastest Site Plan approval in Loudon County history.
Tell us about your role and how it plays into your team.
ANSWER: I can assist with almost any role we have on the team, whether it be design, drafting or communication with client and county.
What is one thing you want everyone to know about working at christopher?
ANSWER: christopher consultants continuously looks for ways for employees to connect with each other beyond day-to-day work.
What company event are you most looking forward to being able to attend again one day?
ANSWER: I always enjoyed pay-day grilled cheese day at the Manassas office.
What is a mistake you made early on in your career, and how did you learn from it?
ANSWER: The firm I was with had to pay for an entire turn lane of curb along Route 1 because the wrong type of curb was specified on the cutsheet. I authorized it. This mistake reinforced to me that cutsheets are the very last confirmation of a design, and how important it is to check them carefully.
