christopher is pleased to welcome Ali Downes, PHR as our new Director of Human Resources.
Ali joins our Corporate Division out of our headquarters in Fairfax. In this role, she will be managing all aspects of christopher’s HR, including recruitment, training and development, scalability and growth planning, benefits and personnel management.
Ali has nearly 20 years of experience in human resources. She most recently spent 8 years with JLL where she focused on workforce planning, talent management, compensation and performance management, as well as spending two years developing an extensive campus recruiting program.

As we implement our 2030 Vision, her years of experience and positive approach to her job will be incredibly valuable,” says christopher President Bill Zink, PE. “Our staff and clients will benefit from what she brings to the table in the form of quality recruiting and leadership development!”
A graduate of James Madison University, Ali is also a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) as well as a SHRM Certified Professional. Ali lives in the Fairfax area with her three children and her husband, CJ. On her days off you can find her running (or running after her kids) and she has participated in multiple virtual races in 2020.
