Congratulations to Kathryn (Katie) McDaniel who has just been promoted to Senior Project Manager! Katie is a key member in our Public Division and works in our Fairfax office. She was named Associate of the firm in 2019 and has been with christopher for over nine years.
Katie is responsible for managing a team of engineers to design, complete and submit engineering drawings, prepare construction plans and design SWM/BMPs and associated specifications. Katie works closely with our public clients including Fairfax County, George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College. She is also an expert in Plan Review and is certified through DEQ for Stormwater Management Plan Review as a Stormwater Management Inspector and as a Stormwater Management Administrator.
Katie received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech where she now serves as a mentor through the LDDI program. She is also a committee member of the SAME Northern Virginia Post K-12 and Higher Education Committees and an active member of the Fairfax County Trails and Sidewalks Committee. In her free time, Katie enjoys taking care of and riding her horse and spending time with her husband and daughter.
