Brittany Prysock, Human Relations Generalist, recently attained her Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) which signifies that fundamental payroll knowledge, skills, and abilities has been attained. Payroll is a fast-paced, challenging environment with an extremely low tolerance for error. Achieving the FPC reflects a demonstrated level of knowledge pertaining to payroll processes, leading to fewer errors and a boost in productivity.
Brittany joined christopher in July of 2019 and quickly identified this course as something that would be meaningful to her success in her role. She studied for eight weeks prior to taking the exam. The FPC requirements and expectations are important to christopher and reflects a priority in maintaining the company’s compliance with constantly changing payroll regulations and procedures, as well as ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive employee information.
“Please join me in congratulating Brittany in this endeavor and for achieving this distinction in a short amount of time. I am truly impressed with her perseverance and dedication to achieving this distinction!” says Laura Kinney, Director of Human Resources.
Brittany also holds a SHRM-CP (certified professional) designation which recognizes her expertise in the HR field. This designation ensures that christopher remains competitive in today’s market, bringing best practices and insight into developing meaningful processes and procedures for the HR team. Both designations will require Brittany to remain focused on keeping her knowledge and skills up-to-date through professional development.
