1 million-square-foot mixed-use development kicks off in alexandria, virginia

In 2021, The Eisenhower Corridor in Alexandria will introduce a new 1 million-square-foot mixed-use development that truly encapsulates the live-work-play scheme. christopher consultants is proud to be providing civil engineering services on this project, built on Blocks 4 and 5 of The Hoffman Town Center.

The property will include 210,000 square-feet of retail anchored by an 84,000 square-foot Wegmans. Over 750 residential units—a mix of condominiums and apartments—are planned throughout three buildings. The new development aims to be an active urban center with talks of many restaurants, a fitness center, a day care and more.

The development is led by a JV of StonebridgeCarras and Creek Lane Capital. christopher is excited to be providing our clients with a final site plan, stormwater management/best management practices design, site lighting plan, construction management plan, LEED coordination and more. The cost for the entire project is estimated at $350 million.
