Laurie Beth Donnachie joins christopher’s special services team!
christopher consultants, ltd. (christopher) is delighted to announce Laurie Beth has joined the Special Services team as a Landscape Architect. Laurie Beth obtained her B.L.A. from the Pennsylvania State University; graduating with honors in 2011, where she and a team built a solar-powered house on the National Mall as part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon competition. Laurie Beth is licensed as a Landscape Architect in Virginia and Pennsylvania as well as an ISA Certified Arborist.
Laurie Beth started her career in Pennsylvania designing residential design/build projects. She moved to Northern Virginia in 2013 where she continued to work on residential and land development projects. Laurie Beth is excited to start working on a variety of projects here at christopher, to include mixed-use, education, commercial and, of course, residential.
Additionally, Laurie Beth serves as Secretary on the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Potomac Chapter’s Executive Committee. When she’s not at work, you can find her running, biking or exploring urban landscape architecture in the Metropolitan area.
